(Onsite) was founded in 2008 by former employees and shareholders of Forsite Consultants Ltd., a diverse company with a proven consulting track record developed over the past 20 years. Onsite has a team of over 50 professional engineers, geoscientists, project managers, technologists, and CAD technicians operating out of 6 offices situated throughout BC. Onsite provides engineering services to public / private sector clients involved in resource development, municipal infrastructure, land development, energy, telecommunications and environmental projects. Onsite excels in providing assistance to our clients in the delivery of large engineering projects in which all aspects are managed and coordinated.
Each Onsite project is supervised by a principal of the firm, a professional who, as a business owner, understands your needs for timely and effective answers. Onsite's principals will assemble a project team from our staff of engineers, geologists, and technologists to draw from our firm's experience. Rod is a practicing professional geoscientist of 15 years in the field of engineering geology. Rod graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1995. Rod's focus is on projects involving a geotechnical component, including; slope stability assessments (resource sector and legislated landslide hazard assessments), landslide investigations, geotechnical assessments, drainage assessments and road deactivation prescriptions. Rod is one of the Principals of Onsite Engineering Ltd.
Michael is a Registered Professional Forester and Professional Engineer. Michael's focus has been on engineering projects in the resource sector completing conceptual bridge site survey, design, inspection, and construction supervision, retaining wall design, field location, design, and construction supervision for forest and urban roads, and general project supervision. Michael is one of the principals of Onsite Engineering Ltd.
Jeremy is a Professional Engineer registered in BC, Alberta, and the Yukon with an engineering degree from UNB. Jeremy's knowledge base stems from over 20 years of experience working in BC since 1993. Through his varied employment, Jeremy has gained experience in bridge site survey, design, and construction supervision, repair strategies for road and bridges, development of road maintenance plans, retaining wall and foundation design, structural analysis, and analysis of wood structures. Jeremy is one of the principals of Onsite Engineering Ltd.
Joel is a practicing professional engineer of 13 years in the municipal and civil engineering sectors. Joel graduated from the University of BC with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering. Joel's experience includes design and contract administration of waterworks projects (watermains, pump stations, reservoirs, and PRV stations), sanitary sewer projects (gravity sewers, forcemains, and pump stations), roads, and stormwater projects. Joel also has experience in hydraulic modeling, master planning, and transient analysis. Joel is a certified MMCD Contract Administrator and has previously sat on the MMCD Board of Directors. Joel is one of the principals of Onsite Engineering Ltd.
Paul is a Professional Engineer whose focus at Onsite has been on resource roads and bridges. Work in BC and the Yukon has included such diverse projects as critical lift plans, recreational trails and footbridges, stream channel restoration and rehabilitation, and peak flow calculations and hydraulic modelling for both flood hazard assessments and barge crossings of large rivers. Paul is one of the principals of Onsite Engineering Ltd.
